Dobrinishte is a small town and ski resort in the Blagoevgrad Province, near the world-famous Bansko winter resort. Dobrinishte offers good conditions for both winter and summer tourism: beautiful nature, hospitable population, ski runs, mineral waters and opportunities for rural and ecotourism.
Dobrinishte is the end-point of the the narrow gauge line from the town of Septemvri. Until recently, the place was one of the biggest (by population) villages in Bulgaria but it was proclaimed as town in 2006. Tourism in the region is developed very well. There are 17 mineral springs with water temperature between 30 and 43 C, as well as a big mineral public bath.
One of the major plans is to connect the lift system of Dobrinishte to the extensive lift and piste system of Bansko. The proximity of Bansko (6 km), where huge funds were invested to develop it as the most modern ski resort in Bulgaria, is another reason for the good future of the whole region.
